I see all the bad reports that people have on here for Meineke, I promise it is no better working for this company. I worked for this Company for the last three years and the whole picture just got worse and worse. I was a Traveling Manager - With that said I am sticking up for all of you and most of all for all the techs at Meineke that deserve more. First of all they do not pay the techs worth a damned, HENCE THE CRAPPY REPAIRS THAT THEY DO. Think about it. The MAX a store manager is allowed to pay a technician is $11/ HR, Now I have been a tech for along time and if you want to hire GOOD TECHS you have to pay them what they are worth.
Therefor at $11.00/Hr you can only imagine what kind of Techs they are Hiring. Valvoline pays more for a Lube Tech. DON'T BELEIVE ME - CALL THEM AND ASK.
So, if you have an $11.00/ Per Hour tech working on your vehicle you cannot expect a lot. Further more this $9.98 oil change that they display is only a gimmick. This is for 10w30 oil only, and if your vehicle manufacture doesn't recommend 10w30 then you will not qualify for the $9.98 oil change, So people please understand you have less than oil change techs working on your vehicles, so the repairs are not done by good techs that know what they are doing, THEY ARE DONE BY SHADE TREE TECHS, Trust me as an EX EMPLOYEE of 3 Years I know how these idiots are, this is why I quit.
