On February 23rd I had to take my 2008 Envoy (which is only 13 months old) into the shop to have a check engine light, blown speaker, 2 complaints on my driver's seat, and my sterring wheel repaired. All was repaired besided the sterring wheel and the drivers seat still made noises. The dealer's repair shop told me nothing was wrong with my sterring wheel or my seat. I had to take my car back to the dealer on February 24th and showed the mechanic my repairs again. I even demonstrated the seat making noises. The mechanic tightened something up in the seat, but the noises still persisted. I brought my car back to the dealer on March 3rd 2010 for the sterring wheel and 2 seat repairs again. Only one repair of my seat was completed, The service guys told me that there was nothing wrong with my sterring wheel, but showed Rick (service advisor) the noise in person and he agreed that there was something wrong. Then I was told they could not figure out what was wrong with the sterring wheel, there are too many things inside of the sterring wheel to take it apart and discover what was making the noise. I was then told i might have to take it to another shop for another opinion. Then my seat may be fixed if the part that is on order resolves the problem, they are still guessing as to why my seat is clicking and making noises. Today March 4th when I went to pick up my truck from the dealer they told me to bring it back in next week for the seat repair and they still have no idea what is wrong with my sterring wheel, they cant diagnosis the problem and i believe they really showed no effort in attempting to discover the problem. When i asked to see the manager he would not even get out of his chair from his office to come and speak to me or aknowledge that i was even present. The manager then said when you bring the car back in we can take another look at your sterring wheel but theres nothing we can do. After feeling like nothing had been done for me, i asked to see the managers boss. The manager refused to call his boss and told me if you want to see him go up to the other office and see him yourself. I aksed a total of three times before walking up myself, even the service advisor offered to get the big boss but the call was never placed and the boss was never notifed untill i went and notified the boss in person. I did find the big boss helpful, he did advise me to call GM headquarters and report my problem, he doesnt care if i report my problem to the BBB becasue they have good ratings by you. I was concerned for my well-being about my sterring issue and asked if it was safe to drive and the boss told me he cant see why not they wouldnt put the truck back on the road for no reason. I went back to the service center and asked if it was okay to drive and they said yeah i guess because we cant find nothing wrong with it. I had to go find my own truck parked outback of the garage becasue they did not even attempt to bring it to me in the service center.in conclusion i feel as if the customer service was horrible, i was treated as if i nothing more than an annoyance to the serive members, and the manager.
