I am a salesperson and I travel around the city of Milwaukee selling men and women medium to high end clothing. I had finished my sales and decided to go to the casino. I have gone to the casino on several occasions. I parked in valet because they park the cars for you and I ddn't feel like walking.
I had already taken inventory after my count up. When I came out of the casino, I looked in the truck but did not move the top covered boxes. One of the boxes was shifted but at the time I attributed it to the movement of the car.
Upon unloading at home I noticed that 19 tee shirts (Polo, Rocawear, Phat Farm, Iceberg, and Fat Albert) were missing from under the boxes. Once before I had missed a couple of items but attributed it to bad bookkeeping which is not one of my characteristics.
I contacted the supervisor, the home office, and the casino, they decided that their people don't steal and I evidently miscounted.
I talked to several other individuals at the casino who have had similar experiences and they were told the same thing that American Valet employees don't steal.
My advice is that if they are parking your car, park your car at home and take the bus.
