This service offered is very misleading and not true valet parking either. You drop your car off and they park it but on your return you gots to go get it yourself. Next is that on your return if you happen not to check / inspect your car and leave the car park, any complaints are not treated / looked at as valid as they claim you need read the terms and conditions before you book so they not responsible once you leave the car park. Reference 1820956 Gatwick Valet parking south from the 17- 24 Oct. On my return at 1100 hours from Malta I went collect my car and drove off as my partner had to get to London Deptford / Bromley to change and go to work for 1445 hours start as premises officer. On entering the motorway after leave Gatwick I turned on my Nav system (Pioneer Avic BT900) to discover that all my preset radio stations, amplifier setings, mileage / tripsetting had been deleted. On calling Gatwick they said to call back. The response I got from the park manager was that since I did not check it on collecting the car they cannot accept the complaint and if I had read the terms and conditions then I would have seen that disclaimer. It is not a major issue but I need to warn the public about this so called valet parking which is not full valet parking; the fact that if anything is missing / damaged / tampered with your car you have no chance of any compensation or the complaint being upheld by them as their terms conditions say you left the car park LOL I am P Rampeearee / S Dunmoodie and hence I have given my name so that Gatwick knows I aint hiding from them. All I wanted was a simple apology and enqiry as to my details and being helpful and dealing with the issue. It was not about any money as no damage was done but that is very poor service and parkers are not to search / tamper with the customer cars in any manner.
