I bought a Clarion cd/tape deck 20 months ago. Almost a year to the day the lcd went out. The deck still played but you couldn't tell what radio station you were on or what cd track it was playing. I took it back to the stereo shop (Unique Car Audio) and they said they would send it back. A month later they said it was in, I went to pick it up, waited for an hour for them to tell me that they made a mistake and mine didnt come in. If that wasn't bad enough, 4 months and 6 trips back to them and I still didn't get it. I called Clarion and they said they never recieved it. Unique said they did but was getting the run around from Clarion. They would not give me my money back nor could I get my stereo back. Finally after 6 months, it came in. After two weeks it broke again, the same thing - no display. I called Clarion told them what had happened and all they would do for me is - keep it for "6-8 weeks" to repair it and send it back. I said no thanks. Word of advice, don't buy Clarion Audio and dont shop at Unique Car Audio in Chandler, AZ.
Dont go to the Clarion web site for help, you wont find a phone number, address - nothing.
