Ok so here is the deal... My room mate called my lien holder because he was mad at me for evicting him from my home. He called regional acceptance who was my lien holder on my vehicle and told them I was hiding the vehicle from them and told them where I worked and the hours I worked. I was NEVER hiding the vehicle from anyone as I was making the payments as I promised them everytime because I did not want to have a repo.
He lied to the supervisor, who in turn called the repo company to have the vehicle picked up from my work. I just made a $600 payment and then my parents loaned me $1200 to help me catch up on the payments. They said that that was okay because of the amount that was paid as long as I kept the other arrangements that I made with them. I did NOT even have the chance to do that as they repoed it before that date (7 days to be exact).
I called them to TRY to redeem the vehicle back and offered them the past due amount (1 month) and then another months payment and they refused. They told me that they want the balance in full on the car. I asked them why they would take his word against mine and they told me they did not know what I was talking about. I know the repo business—I did it for six yrs. I asked them wouldnt they rather the payments instead of selling at auction. They said no. They want the deficiency balance. Told them I would file BK and they would never get another cent from me.
They are a shady, kneiving company and I am glad that I am out from under them. My credit is shot anyway so just filing BK would not do any harm. I found out all of the calls are recorded EXCEPT when you talk to a supervisor. I am warning everyone to stay away from them. Go to a buy here pay here place. They are more respectable then this company.
I lost my job because of this and no getting evicted because now I have no job because of no transportation. And NO I do not live near a bus or a light rail station.
By the way, the room mate is now gone—like that really matters—damage is already done..
Stay away from these people—they are crooks and will tell you one thing and do another-i know
