Ford Motor Company
Ripoff deceptive company

On October 12 we purchased an F-350 Dually CrewCab Truck from dealership in Charlotte, NC. After paying $9000.00 down payment the rest owed was signed through Ford Motor Credit.

On July 14 at 4am in the morning the repo guy had paperwork saying he was here to repo truck.

Even after finding receipts to show him we were up to date he still said he was working for Ford Credit and he had to retrieve vehicle and we would have to talk to someone from Ford.

The truck was then taken to a recovery yard in Charlotte, NC where we were given 10 days to straighten out payments or vehicle would be sold at auction. We immediately started making phone calls but NO ANSWERS!!!

At first they wouldnt even talk with us because they said their records had main signer as deceased.

Then when we finally convinced them no one was deceased they were to have an investigation.

They had promised that vehicle would not be sold until they found out all about payments. However a week later the vehicle was moved to Greensboro, NC to auction sale.

When we called Ford they said it was on hold and still said we would be notified after they finished investigation. We would get vehicle back or have a chance to pay off.

After many phone calls and many attempts at leaving messages the vehicle was sold in October without any notification.

They falsely repossed vehicle, lied about selling vehicle and never told us a pay off amount or what thay found out.
This vehicle was registered in our comapny name since we self-employed and it has been devastating to say the least.

Now the recovery people are trying to get us to pay the difference from where the truck sold and it wasnt enough. Lol... Lol... Lol... What a joke.

And it is showing on credit report as repo and full amount still owed.

There was another guy who had his truck repossed the same day as ours and he battled and finally got his back.

What is up with a company when you make payments and then they up and take your vehicle, say you are deceased, sell the vehicle and no correspondence?

Wish we had someone to help us.
