When i went to buy a used car for my wife we went to progessive auto in riverside. While we were talking to the salesperson i asked him if the car had been looked at by a mehanic and he told me yes. Like a moron i trusted him and didn't really look at the car to well. While we were doing the deal on the car he told me that they were going to tell the bank that we gave them a 1000 dollars down in acuality we only gave them 500. Then he gave me my wife and copies of our credit report that he got when he ran our credit.
After we took the car home my wife took off the bra that was on the hood of the car and noticed that the front end of the car was dented in about 8 inches. I then took the car to my mechanic and he informed me that the car had a broken fram and that i should take it back to them asap. That night my wife took the car back and told them what we had found they then took the car back and gave the one check we wrote for 300 and told us that the other one had already been sent to the bank.
My wife then got on there computer and showed them that the check had already cleared my bank and that the need to give us a check for the other 200 that we gave them. After arguing with them for 15 minutes they gave us a check. I thought "great this crap is over" but the next morning when she went to cash the check the had put a stop payment on it.
That night when i got home i called and asked them what was going on and they told me that my wife had stollen a computer from there place and that ther were not going to give me my money.
