The owner of this shop is Roy. He is a certified con artist and scammer. I took my son's mustang to him to repair it. We asked him to fix the window because it was off track. I paid him $500.00 cash. He never gave me a receipt and I trusted him because he was referred by one of my family members. He kept asking me did I trust him and asked me if I needed a receipt, I told him I would get the receipt later and he never produced one. He kept bragging about how cheap his prices were because he didn't have any fancy overhead and wasn't paying for fancy stuff and he was a family owned business, and wanted to keep prices down for the customer.
He kept my son's car for several weeks and then the night before Thanksgiving last year he rushed me to get the car. He asked me for $125.00 more saying he had to pay taxes and the work cost more. I had just recently had the car repaired, before taking it to him. I had a timing belt put on it and a tune up, bought a new battery, etc. The car was running great. Two weeks later the window was off track again. I couldn't take it to him the week it happened, I brought it in the following week. He tried to blame my son asking him what he was doing, it was our fault and said he fixed the car over a month ago. We got into a big argument and I left. He never did any of the other work he promised he would do. He stated not only would he fix the window, but he would fix the shift lever because at times it would be stuck. He told me that would cost thousands of dollars to fix and he took the car apart and looked at it but couldn't fix it. He lied. Previously he told me that all it needed was a little bit of lubrication and he would fix it. He also took parts off of the car! When we got the car back, the timing belt that was on it was loose. The car stopped on my son the very next day. My son almost froze because this was last year. I would have posted this ad sooner, but I did not know about this site!
If you need your car do not take it to this man. He is a very short hispanic handsome man, but is personality is very deceiving. I don't want this to happen to anyone else, and I pray that I save other people from this experience.
