Dear Santo Silvestro:

This was sent to you but kicked back due to some error on your website. I sent this and other materials to Connecticut Better Business Bureau, thus far, you will be held accountable for the rental costs of a car I had to secure to work this past week of $160.00 to date. Any further delays will result in additional costs to you as I have to work and have to have a car to do so.

Included are:
1. Copy of the Receipt for my car paid in full for services requested and rendered I assume as I have not been able to drive my car yet it has been held hostage by you at your garage.
2. Cost Estimates for replacing a timing belt for a 1996 Hyundai Sonata with 4 cylinders.
3. Correspondence with a Hyundai Auto-parts company regarding the parts necessary to replace at timing belt for my car and what they included. Note the parts are $96.00 and include a timing belt tensioner.
4. The receipt for renting a car at Enterprise Rent a Car, next to your garage office to have transportation to get to and from work while you held my car hostage. This will be updated and an expense to you if this cost escalates due to holding my car.

You office manager has my number and has had this since I called in on Tuesday July 29th to make an appointment in advance for this service. I was pleased with your son's customer service and the past experiences I have had with him which is why I selected New Canaan Auto-body. I did not appreciate being told my car was ready and then expected to pay an additional $310 for same service I had already paid for in cash on August 2. The receipt is included. The car was returned within 1 hour of picking it up because it was released to me with problems that made the car dangerous to drive. These problems were not occurring when I brought my car in to you for repair.

I did not have when I drove the car to the garage to have the timing belt replaced. The service was awful, and on top of it, a 3-4 hour job took 5 days and you have th audacity to advice me I should be your company twice for something you did wrong the first time. This becomes your cost, not mine.

I expect my car returned in working order and with the new timing belt that I already paid to have replaced. The timing belt tensioner which you added to my costs at $150 along with 2 additional hours of work ($170) is not my responsibility as I paid to have the services performed in full. It appears you wanted me to pay for this service twice, totaling $300 paid already in cash, plus an additional $320 or a total of $620 for something I could have had done anywhere else for and also something that is well above the guaranteed price agreed upon.

Regards,

Deena *
