Triple R Deisel
Peterbiltdaycabs.com Triple R sold me a Peterbilt that should not have been let out onto the road as it was unsafe and they said it had a DOT inspection

I purchased a 2003 Peterbilt from Triple R Deisel and was told by the salesman that it was a good truck and would'nt have to put a bunch of money into it.

When I went to pick it up it wasn't ready as they were working on 2 show trucks. I ended up staying 2 days to get it, so with that said I was in a hurry to get it to work.

I made it to my home in Georiga and no sooner got it into the driveway I called my mechanic to come and replace a wheel seal. I then had to bring it to a welder as the rear drive axle housing cracked and was leaking fliud.

I then had to purchase tires as the ones they had on the truck had flat spots and broken steel belts.

My mechanic checked the truck and asked if they did a DOT inspection, I said yes and showed him the bill that they charged me for it. At that point he told me it should have never left the lot because the brakes and drums were totaly wiped out.

I put out the money that I had left and had him replace the drums and shoes on the steer axle only as I had not even made a dime with the truck yet. I contacted Triple R a few times and was told I bought it off the lot and they didn't even look at it.

Too bad! I had to get a road mechanic on my first trailer pick up because the air lines were cut in two.

The truck shakes and vibrates so much that it is cracking the rear end after each time I have it welded. I can't go over 62 mph because it shakes so much.

Between 45 and 55 it will bounce anything I have on the dash off onto the floor.

I know I bought it as is but I do think that if thay charged my for a DOT inspection and said it passed that it should.

The truck is a hand full to keep in line on the highway and back roads are just plain scary, but I'm at the point that I have to make money to keep it going and make the payments.

I told them all of this and had my mechanic call them also but they got their money from the bank and won a prize with their show truck so they just don't care about that guy in Georgia that's going under in a hurry because they sold me a junk.

Shame on me I read their web site and bought all they said about "getting more for less".

I guess they meant it towards them.

Worst part is the truck still is dangerous to drive, but I'm screwed now the bank just wants the money.

Pete
