I strongly recommend that you do NOT do business with AUSSIE BIKER TOURS AND RENTAL out of Noosa on the Australian Sunshine Coast.
Their motorcycle stranded me in the Outback due to their maintenance error. The owner not only refused to return my deposit and rental fee but weeks later snuck another charge for A$940 on my credit card without my permission or authorization! I've had to place a block on him with my credit card company.in total he has taken me for over US$2500 (not to mention ruining my US$5000 vacation and leaving me to hitchhike out of the Outback).
I can't for practical reasons sue him as I'm in the US and he's in Australia so I'm sure he's not concerned. The best I can do is take it up with my credit card company and warn others.
The charges in dispute include:
A$1500 for the rental deposit
A$420 for the 5 days pre-paid rental fee for which I was unable to use the broken down motorcycle
A$940 an extra unexpected and I'm sure illegal charge to my credit card after we were already in dispute over these previous two
