This car rental company is involved in a fraudulent business practice. The company charged me an extra $300 as a "deposit" when I rented the car, and when I questioned it, they said they would charge it back (refund) the $300 when I returned it.
Instead of refunding the money, the agent charged it again a second time when I returned the car—now I have an ADDITIONAL $300 — therefore, my credit card has now been charged a total of $600 EXTRA on top of the car rental fee and other fees.
This is apparently not the first time that they have done this, and the corporate office claims that the mistake was the fault of the Credit Card company.
