All Star Mitsubishi Robert V
All Star Mitsubishi Service Rep. Robert V I left my vehcile for repair, but the dealer allowed it to be used for hauling over 700 miles added

I am a Soldier in the US Army, currently residing in Port Monmouth NY. I will just get striaght to the point. After being given the run around on drop it today, not today. I had to leave the state for a few days, and called the dealer and we agreed to drop my 2006 Montero Mits, off on 18 July. While on my way to the dealer I filled my gas tank up, I like to keep it full at all times.

So, I dropped it off and the service representative said it would be ready on 22 July well I knew I wasn't goiing to be back until 24 July but I just said o.K. Well, I got a call on 24 July from a Mr Robert, who said that the car was not ready and it maybe ready on 29 July. Robert called me and advise me that it was ready, but when I asked if they had repaired the dash four wheel drive light, he said no, and would call me when it was ready.

He called me on 31 July and said, it had been ready. What ever. I had my wife take me there when got off work, it was about 1900hrs / 7pm and raining very hard. I got the papers for Mr Robert and got into my truck, when I noticed my tow cover sitting on my dash board, I thought I know they did not use my truck to pull a trailer, I just couldn't believe that had happen and wanted to believe that it must have just fell off, but it could not have becaue it is a rubber cup that raps around the tow hook up.

I pulled off the lot and noticed that my gas hand was on empty, but my LCD incidated that I had 370 miles of driving before I had to fill up. I imideatily called Robert and explained to him that I had filled my tank up prior to dropping it off to them and I explained the confilct with the gas gauges. He advise put some gas in it and see what it does. Well, due to the rain. I waited until the next day.

On 1 Aug I had to pick a friend up from Newark Airport. When my gas light came on. As I begna to return home, I stopped and filled up, when I noticed the the amount kept going up. It finally stopped at $53.60 of gas. I was furious and called Robert, but as usual, I waited 5 minutes and he never picked up. I hung up and called back and asked for the manager or who ever has the highest ranking authority.

Mr Charlie picked up and I explained to him the gas issue and that I was on my way there. He asked me why was I coming there. I said, to get my $53.60 dollars of gas money. He explained that the accountant will not be in until Monday and to come by then, he then asked me how many miles was on my truck when I dropped it off? I told him I did not know, actually, my wife told me to right down the miles when I dropped it off, but I just said it will be alright, and I had filled it up, so that was o.K. With me (I will listen to her the next time).

Well, I looked on my reciept and noticed my miles were 62148 when I dropped it off and the miles as of that very moment was 62800. I became out raged and called Charlie back, told him about the gas, trailer, my COLTS plate was removed from my rear window, and green particles were in the rear of my truck. He said to come by on Monday when the owner was there. I calmed down and proceed home. Well, on my home I had to pass by the Deralship, I could not just drive by it.

I went in the office and asked for Charlie, I met him and he stated that he did not need to see miles or anything, that he believed me and that he had asked some employees about it and that someone was going to get fired over this. And I just noticed that my interior lights were turned off, when you open the door. I always had the lights come on when the doors open. I am writing this beacuse, I DO NOT TRUST THEM AND WANT TO SPEAK TO AN ATTORNEY. I am not sure how to handle this or what to request for compensation. I fill as if I have been violated, personaly, the abused my truck, and took advantage of me. This is not the only time, there is more, but I continued to use them, because I had paid for a service and they did not repair it correctly.
