Tom Gill Chevrolet
Lost my truck, for 3 hours, Did not notify of cost of repairs, Management stated (since not spent money here before don't care about customer)$

I really have 3 complaints which happened on 2 different visits, #1 dropped vehicle off on Sat morning to have some service performed, filled out contact info and gave the keys to the tech in the shop. On Monday morning I recieved a call from Tom Gill Chevrolet stating that they had a set of keys but did not have the Truck. I explained to the service manager that I had dropped the car off on Sat morning went into the service area spoke to a tech filled out the contact info and what I wanted done and gave them the keys. The service manager stated that he had the keys but no truck, I became very nervous and again repeated myself. The service manager stated that he would look around and call ne back. About 30 minutes later he called back and stated that they could not find the vehicle. At this point I became very upset as I thought someone had stole my vehicle. I hung up and contacted the local authorities and explain to them what had happen, they asked if the vehicle was equipted with On-Star I said yes they said to contact onstar and have them locate the vehicle, I had totally forgot about On-Star, so I hung up and contacted On-Star and explained again what had happened. I was transferred to another dept and the person was very helpful and understanding to my problem. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes and when the On-Star advisor returned to the line they stated that the car was found and it was on the left rear side of Tom Gill Chevrolet's Parking lot. I thanked the rep and contacted tom Gill Service back and explained what I had done and where On-Star said the vehicle was. The Service dept put me on hold for a few minutes then came back to the phone and stated they had found it on the lot. I explained to them that how do you lose a vehicle on you lot, the service manager was rude stated that it was found. I was awoke at 8:30 in the morning to be told my vehicle was gone, missing, I went to the dealership spoke with the Gen manager who really did not have much to say, except we found the vehicle. I stated that I would have my maintane service done somewhere else. Problem #2 Now over a year has passed since this incident, I went to purchase a 2012 Sonic sedan 06 I thought since Tom Gill Chevrolet was less than 6 miles from my home I would look there, I saw where another dealer was giving $3,000 off any Sonic/Cruz so I asked the sales person there and was told could not match that deal (Not Very NICE)! So we bought from another dealer having to drive 75 miles round trip but was treated just Great! Problem #3 I have a extended warranty on all my vehicles, my air cond just quit cooling all at once, it was fairly warm and I did not want to have to drive 75 miles to have this looked at and fixed, So I dropped the vehicle off on a Friday and explained what the problem was and they stated that they would look at it on Monday and call me, I stated I wanted to be notified what was wrong with the air cond, well Monday came and at the end of the day no call from Tom Gill Chevrolet, so around 5:00pm I called the service person told me that there was nothing wrong with the cooling when it was started up it worked, he stated he would leave it set overnight retry in morning and call be back in the morning Tuesday, well Tuesday came and went around 1:30 I was in the area and stopped by they said it was ready that it was cool. I went up to the service window and was told that it was $115.00, I ask for what the service manager stated that they hooked it up to the machine and that was the cost, I asked why would you hook it up to the machine if when you started it it was ice cold. Then the service manager stated ok how much do you think it should be and lowered it to $77.00, for what I still could not under stand. I was referered to the gen manager the same gentleman that I spoke with when my vehicle came up missing for 3 hours but he did not remember me, I explained to him about the charge and he looked up on the computer and stated this to me QUOTE (I can't see where you have ever brought your car in here before I then was really mad and explained again about all the problems, I stated I have 3 Chevroltes and he stated you did not buy them from US! It don't look like you have spent any money here)! I then said what did you just say to me, because I could not believe this had happened. I paid the #77.00 and left NEVER to RETURN! Tom Gill Chevrolet, they must have forgot about the customer, Oh wait they will remember your name if you spend your $money there, & enjoy being treated like a bumb, REMEMBER YOU ARE STILL A CHEVROLET DEALER, not just a Tom Gill Chevrolet, NO MATTER WHERE YOU BUY IT IT'S STILL A CHEVROLET Thanks Tom Gill for setting me straight on which brand to buy, maybe FORD$. What a poor representation of the Chevrolet brand by this dealership, so sad!!
