Randall Noe - The Case of the Missing Coupon

The Case of the Missing Coupon

I came home this past Saturday, July 20th to find in my mailbox a Coupon from Randall Noe, Jeep Chrysler, Dodge. The coupon offered a $10,000 discount off a New Vehicle and the only fine-print' stated that it was not valid with any other offers. I showed the coupon to family members (especially my very knowledgeable brother who knows how to circumvent difficulties.) and then we called the dealership to ask if this coupon was indeed everything it said it was. We were assured on the phone that it wasbut that the offer was over at 9pm. I wasted no time in getting to the dealership, asked for the person I spoke with (Ron, who had told me to ask for Shawn) I was then told by Ron, that he did not speak to me and it must be John' I wanted to speak with. An angry Johnand I moved to a small round table in the showroom and I spoke to him about my coupon and let him know that I was considering purchasing a new car because of it. He proceeded to ask for my coupon and my letter so the he could get my name and address from it and began asking me what was important to me in a new car. Price I said. Not Safety? He replied. I let him know that Jesus was in control of that and that I was here to get a good price. The man Ron' then came over (I believe there was a little signaling' that happened) and he began talking to meWhere do you work? Small-talk' etc and a third man then came to the table and the two men who were seated seemingly staged a small argument saying such things as I'll get you after work (this was a statement by John-who always seemed a bit angry) and I was asked by him at this point You didn't think you were going to get $10,000 off of a $20,000 car did you? I said, Yes, since that is what I was told on the phone and what my coupon states I then reached for my coupon, which had been in front of Johnbut it had miraculously Disappeared! Where is my mail, my coupon? I said. The man who had been standing at the table (did not get his name-of course) was gone and the other two (John & Ron) as well as myself were looking all around the table for the missing letter, coupon and envelope (MY MAIL) to no avail-of course. I stood up and said I'm leaving now, this is shady and unbelievable! I was hollered at Mam, Mamwait! But I leftwithout my mail, my letter, my couponand without my free gift (a choice of a sleeping bag or sport-chair.) I know that car salesmen are notorious for being unscrupulous but this is absolutely unbelievableSTEALING MY MAIL, to avoid honoring a coupon that was sent to me! What next?
