I was having a problem with the suspension on my Ford Explorer. I took it to the service department at Elk Grove Ford and asked them to look at it. They told me I needed a bushing and that I needed new rotors for my brakes. They wanted over $900.
The problem was I had bran new rotors put on the car 1 year earlier. I ended up paying a $35 "consultation fee" and took it somewhere else. They told me the rotors were just fine, put on new pads and told me how to change the bushing myself. The bushing cost $50 and the brakes cost a little over $100. A much better deal than the $900 Elk Grove Ford wanted. I have had friends with similar problems with Elk Grove Ford and that is why I am filing this report. Take your car any place but Elk Grove Ford.
