On September 8 I bought a 200 Ford Taurus from this dealer and since my credit was challenged they financed me through a Company called Credit Acceptance Corporation (in which there are complaints aginst this company on here as well I suggest you read them).
On October 23 the vehicle was taken by so some hired individuals to reposess this car, I was 0nly sixteen days late with the first paymnet and if they could have waited the next day I would have made the payment.
Gary Smith Ford or I should say thier sales team that sold me the vehcile did not do a very good job of making me aware that They have to install a GPS unit on the vehicles that are financed through Credit Acceptance, they only told me that this device was for Insyurance puposes only, they did not explain to me that thsi device could be used to render the vehicle disbaled should a paymnet be missed etc. Which that never occured. They told me to bring the car in after they sold it to me sold that the mechanics could get some serial numbers off the engine and it would only take a half hour, we were there for a total of three hours in which time they obviously installed the GPS unit.
Do not buy from this dealership they only will take adavnatge of you, they lie, they rush you through the paperwork and to boot they use a credit company that is nothing more than credit predators!!!
