Lufthansas details about the advantages of their "Kilometers and Much More" plan is incorrect. While it reaches a place where they'd need to acknowledge this, they simply do not answer anymore. Any organization that cares about its status might attempt to ensure it is directly if your client was fooled by their info. Not too Lufthansa or its "Star Alliance Partners". Clearly there's no government company that adjusts regular flier plans to ensure that Airlines may ostensibly create any type of guarantees and never have to worry any effects.

On a single occasion I arranged a trip with Singapore Airlines that required me more than 40 hours since I thought that I'd have the ability to uprade it with my Kilometers and Much More kilometers which were going to end. Lufthansa clearly says that Kilometers and Much More people can update their Singapore Airlines reservations. After I arranged the trip it had been, sorry - the update isn't going through. After I approached SIA I had been informed that their routes aren't upgradable for Kilometers and Much More people, only when it had been a codeshare trip which was initially reserved by Lufthansa. I have this written down. After I posted a duplicate of the notice to Lufthansa their reaction was: "We're not able to review this" another notice that I posted to Lufthansa requesting them when they do not keep in touch with their companions hasn't been responded, that is why I'm accepting that my presumption holds true. It's really handy for Lufthansa to express "we can not let you know ahead of time if an update can be done, go right ahead and guide the trip" They create clients genuinely believe that Star Alliance is much like one large organization but when there's any problem that entails two distinct Celebrity Alliance "companions" then it's "we-don't have any control over this, we-don't understand why you had been informed this, we-don't understand why this occurred..."

On another event I had been refused use of a Combined Top Class bar despite my Top Class Lufthansa solution. Lufthansas site clearly states "An Initial Class ticket owner has use of any (!) Star Alliance lounge" After I described this towards the lounge assistant the clear answer was "we-don't worry about what Lufthansas site says". Again, after I approached Lufthansa they favored to not review this and not responded.
