I can't believe that, in this economy, a dealership could be so off-putting to a customer who wants to buy a car from them. I contacted Kinney Galani, sales mgr, after getting an email from Planet Auto Mall. I had purchased two cars from them - or their predecessor - before. He offered me a car and a price over the phone. The following day, I called and asked if there was a better price. He immediately became defensive and bullying. I told Kinney Galani I only had his first price over the phone and it was normal to see if he could do better. The condescension and defensiveness escalated. I asked him to send me an email confirming the price he gave me orally. He refused saying he wasn't going to allow me to play him against another dealer. I CALLED HIM! I wanted this car! He got so bad, "What, you can't tell your wife?" that I hung up and won't deal with them. Amazing how the people from Planet Auto Mall will treat you.
