Tom Brown falsified information to take ownership of my vehicle

I drove my Ford F250 to L&M due to the coolant reservoir boiling over. The initial cost to take the vehicle apart diagnose the problem and reassemble was $674.00 which was approved. There were numerous calls between Dec. 9th and Dec. 19th all of which Tom Brown indicating the problem had not been located. It was not until December 23rd that Tom Brown called and indicated they were still putting the truck back together and the cost of repairs is $4,700.00. At no time did Tom Brown ever give us a diagnosis, cost of repair, anything. Tom Brown even admits that fact in his response to my complaint with the Better Business Bureaus. Tom Brown goes into this identity crisis on who Rusty is and this is the only person he ever talked to. I contacted Tom Brown on December 23rd asking why the truck was repaired without any approval and he indicated the cost were approved through Rusty. That never happened and what Tom Brown did not realize is that Rusty and I were car pooling while my vehicle was in his shop. I told Tom Brown I wanted to see the itemized cost, this was on December 23rd. After repeated request both phone and email I was denied a copy until January 14th. January 6th when Tom Brown's mother called and indicated the vehicle was ready to be picked up I told her that the cost was not approved and I wanted a copy of the itemized invoice. I arrived at L&M Automotive that afternoon and Tom Brown denied me a copy of the invoice and said I would get the invoice legally they were placing a mechanics lien on the vehicle. Tom Brown finally allowed me to pickup a copy of the invoice on January 16th, the lien was placed on January 22nd.

I took Tom Brown to small claims court on March 31st with all my phone records and correspondence and felt confident that I had the evidence to show that Tom Brown has made numerous false statements. I sat in the court in awe as Tom Brown fabricates this story of how the truck had been driven for sometime with this problem and he never talked to anyone but Rusty. The judge looked at none of the actual evidence that I took to court. The judge completely sided with Tom Brown who only brought the invoice that was printed on January 14th.

There are no agencies that will help you. I have been to the Better Business Bureau, Consumer Protection and Attorney Generals Office. The only agency that responded was the BBB which really is only a mediator and you will see how Tom Brown responded to the complaint.

Everyone has felt and I am completely convinced now that I see Tom Brown and his wife are driving the vehicle that he had ill intentions from the start. It was very clear all cost had to be approved and Tom clearly took advantage of that. I am now receiving toll charges on the truck that Tom Brown is driving on April 21st and I saw both Tom Brown and his wife in the vehicle at Walmart last week. The Texas Code clearly states the vehicle has to be sold at public auction so how is it he driving it and as of May 22nd the vehicle is still registered in my name.
