Brown & Brown Chevrolet should be the face of complaint!
I was mislead immediately dealing w/this dealership. 1st the internet ad said car was for $18,899 & when I first arrived they said that was just the 'web' price & the 'lot' price was $26,795. I was greeted by an unprofessional salesman who made my car buying experience very uncomfortable.
I went to dealership at 1400 - 1430 mntn standard time I was approved 6-8hrs later at closing time for dealership. When I drove off the lot there was a problem instantly. One of the tires was bad & the suspension went out w/i 2 days.
I spoke w/all the departments & was sent twirling in a circle for 3 weeks.By then they said the deal w/the bank fell thru and I needed to return the car.
I went to return vehicle but they told me I would receive nothing back in return. That they were keeping my down payment and trade - in vehicle for over $3000. I told them I'd at least need my car back and the finance dept told me I was held responsible for damages to car. I left & they reported the car stolen.
I have no respect for dealerships like Brown & Brown! How dare them treat customers like this? Yet, they have the nerve to beg for a "BAILOUT" which I have to pay w/my tax money!
