So I purchased a car from these jokers on ebay. Communication was, at first, excellent. Once the vehicle was paid for, they were tougher to get than the president. I kept them informed on my flight date and time. I even went so far as to call them from each leg of my flight to let them know I would be arriving on time.
When I finally arrived in Trenton at 4:23 pm, I called and got no answer. After calling twice more, I was informed that they were on their way to pick me up. Nobody ever showed, and they refused to answer their phone until my wife made nearly 50 phone calls to them before they answered and said they didn't know what happened. I was stuck outside in the blazing sun for over three hours before contact was made with them. Cost me over $200 for a room that night.
Next morning, 9 am, I called and was told someone would be there to pick me up within 20 minutes, and they requested I wait outside my hotel. I waited outside for nearly an hour before they showed up. It then took 9 minutes to make it to their lot.
Their secretary took copies of my identification and all the standard paperwork, but failed to return my license. Either the dog or the cat in their office "marked" my $280 military backpack while I was there.
When I returned home, I left negative feedback for the transaction, and was eventually offered a $200 refund for the hotel room, but they never sent it. Just like they didn't send my license back until they got the title a month later.
Hotel room at the Mariott-Trenton—$200
Dinner at the Mariott lounge—$55
Military backpack replacement—$280
Replacement license—$8
Learning there are people out there that don't give a sh*t, as long as they get their money—PRICELESS
