I first financed my automobile thru UACC in February. Since that time I have never been late on a payment. My poor experiences with this company started from the first month of first payment. I had mailed my check two weeks early just to make sure it was there on time & I still received a call saying that they had NOT in fact received my payment. I agreed to do a pay by phone thru my debit card which cost me an extra $15. No big deal except that my account went to the negative when UACC cashed that very same check that they "lost" two weeks prior.

When I called the company, i was informed that they had no such record of that check being cashed & that they only showed one payment being made. When i asked to speak to a manager, I was told that I didnt have that right. I am in phone sales & I am VERY well educated on sales legalities.

A few months went by & I continued to make my payments when the EXACT same thing happens again with my check & my checking account.

Since then I have been sending my payments via Western Union, which is an option with this company. I have ALWAYS used the EXACT same account # & the EXACT same phone # unless previously changed by myself upon contacting UACC. This last month I made my payment 4 days late via Western Union. I later received a call from UACC saying that they had not received my payment. I received the call on May 12th when the payment was made on May 10th. When I disputed their records, I was rebuttaled with either make my payment or lose my vehicle.

I then proceeded to fax over the proof of my payment with the Western Union tracking #. They told they would track it down & properly credit my account. Two days after being informed that they would "take care of it", I contacted them YET AGAIN to insure it was being handled. I wa ASSURED by the representative that they HAD INDEED found my payment & that they had the proper procedure in action to resolve this issue. I felt at ease at that time.

Until later that very same week, two days later, I received YET ANOTHER CALL from UACC, from a DIFFERENT REPRESENTATIVE saying that I was STILL deliquent on my payment & that they had no such records of the previous conversations that I had with other reps.

I then requested to speak to a manager & was refused & also told " I HAD NO RIGHT TO TALK TO THEM LIKE THAT & HAD NO RIGHT TO SPEAK TO A MANAGER!" When I finally got a manager on the line, he also treated my issue with the same, & even worse, disregard. He continuouslly cut me off in my explaining previous conversations with their representatives & basically refused to find my payment & fix the problem.

I have also sunk over $3500 worth of work & repairs in this vehicle since purchasing & none of which were covered in my extended purchased warranty. I realize I bought it "as-is", & warranties are very limited, but personally i believe that is ridiculous.

I have continued to receive these harrassing calls at my place of employment & have also had several of my references called asking them to make the payment for me. My family is NOT responsible for my debts. This company continues to harrass me even though my account is not only current, but it is technically two months ahead. I am at my wits end with the continuous harrassing calls & have no idea what further steps to take in order to get this issue resolved. I know there are very concrete laws in place to protect the consumer & i would very much like to be informed of those & my rights. HELP! I am losing my mind with this company.
