Fletcher Jones Mercedes
Is so desperate for business they will mislead you, and do loan fraud!

My current lease term was coming up and Fletcher Jones Mercedes have been calling me for the past 3 weeks. I have informed the dealership that I have the worst experience with Mercedes Benz, and I was going to return the vehicle. I was over my mileage and I informed Fletcher Jones Mercedes In Newport Beach, California that I was going to just pay for the over mileage on the vehicle.

I went to the dealership to return the vehicle, and told Fletcher Jones that I am not interested for the 100th time. They told me that they will pay for the over mileage, if I leased another vehicle. I repeated my self over again, and again. There was so much pressure from the dealership that I ended up looking at a 2009 E350.

I informed the Sales Manager Kushman King that my girlfriend is unable to afford the payments because she is a full time student and works part time. When we leased the vehicle 2 years ago, she had a full time job so she was able to afford the payments. Kushman King said don't worry we will make her a job and income documents.

I informed Kushman King I was not comfortable with falsifying any income because it is unethical, and it is unethical to even try to put someone into something they don't even want. We were pushed to the finance department to Angel the finance manager. We told them we really don't want a car, and kept on putting pressure on us. My girlfriend had to go to work, so she ended up signing so they would get off our case.

I felt uncomfortable the whole situation to being with. I contacted the Sales Manager the next day and informed him that we are uncomfortable and the car is not being driven. Quote on Quote " Young Man you need Counseling". That was the most insulting statement I have ever heard. I decided to contact someone who can help me, and was introduced to Chris Lazan, the General Sales Manager.

I was promised that I would receive a call from the General Manager of Fletcher Jones Mercedes. I waited for 2 days, and have not received any calls. So, I decided to go the dealership because my girlfriend ended up having a nervous break down, and was hospitalized. When I went to the dealership to talk to the General Manager, I was told that he is in a meeting or even hear that he just left for the day.

I got his e-mail from his security guard, and decided to e-mail him since I couldn't get a hold of him. Below is the e-mail I receive. Please do not ever get a vehicle from Fletcher Jones Mercedes of Newport Beach, California! You will regret it! I promise you!

Hello Garth,
I understand you are a very busy man, and I have been waiting for the past 2 days for your phone call. My girlfriend is in the hospital because of your dealership. I did not think such a reputable dealership would conduct business in this manner. I was informed by Chris Lazan that I was going to receive a phone call from you but to no evail. I am disappointed in the way fletcher jones has attempted to solve this problem. I need the vehcile to be unwound, I have already informed Chris Lazan I am not going to make any payments on the vehicle.

My girlfriend was pressured and also told by Kusman King to lie about her income, which she is a full time student and works part time. It is very unethical and I wish you could put yourself our situation. All she wanted to to do is return the vehicle, and pay for the over mileage, and due your misleading staff she has experienced a nervous breakdown requiring hospitalization for a few days. I have been very patient in this matter and would greatly appreciate some assistance in recifiying this situation. Please try to understand my predicament.

In summary I just don't want the vehicle due to falsified documents. If my girlfriend really made the stated amount as income I would have no problem in keeping the car. She is currently trying to get her pharmaceutical license and cannot jeopardize this life long career due to some falsified income. Thank you for your understand in this matter and please help me.

Sincerely,

Mr. *,
Thank you for your E-mail. We appreciate your girlfriend's business. We do not ever ask clients to falsify credit applications. Furthermore, this deal was negotiated over several days as you are aware. Our staff is professional, well trained and does not conduct themselves unethically. Therefore, I am not willing to rescind the transaction.
Best regards,
Garth.
