Well I am yet another swindled by Jd byriders lies. I purchased my vehicle from them in feb of 08 after I had gotten into an accident and needed to find a car immed. For work. So needless to say I had no credit and no money to purchase privately so I went to Jd byrider. After sitting at the dealership for 8hrs I finally finished signing the paperwork. I didn't take the car home that night because there were some repairs to be done with the power steering that I had noticed and they said no problem they would take care of it. So I go pick up my car a few days later and noticed a burning smell. At first I thought it was just some burning oil that had gotten on an exhaust manifold so I didn't pay much mind to it at first. Then 2 days after having the car it broke down on me on my way to work. I called them up and after arguing with them they agreed to send a tow truck (i live an hour away from the dealership) and the service manager agreed to provide me with a loaner car as well. So I sit and wait in the rain for this tow truck to come for 2hrs. I call them back and they tell me they wont be able to pick it up untill tomorrow. I was furious that they did not call me and let me know I hadn't even found a ride home yet. When they took the car in I also let them know about the burning smell I had smelt. They said they'd take care of it. So I get the car back about a week later and they informed me it was a bad coil pack that caused the car to stall out and that the burning smell I had smelt was from grease from them replacing the catlytic converter on the car before I bought it. Now I bought the car in Pa and I live in Nj so I had to get the car inspected I took it to inspection and it failed for emissions because the catlytic converter was bad, and I'm thinking how can this be they told me they just replaced it. SO yet again my car goes back in the shop for a week. Now during this all I noticed myself getting strangely sick couldn't figure out what was going on I went to an allergist who noticed I had a sinus infection which I've never had in my life but ok it can happen. But then I started noticing more and more weird symptoms, and I just wouldn't get better was on anitbiotics for over 20 days nothing worked. So one day I had a friend in the backseat of my car and it happend to be raining out. We were parked in his driveway and I turned back to talk to him and noticed my headliner was soaking wet. The seal is in the very back window is shot on the car (probably from the accident it was in that they didn't inform me of). So turned out there was a huge mold problem in my car. I had a company come out and test it to prove it. Tried calling Jd byrider about the problem they refuse to do anything about it. I had an attorney contact them they still do nothing. I refuse to make payments on the car anymore at this point so cnac (even though they know the situation with the car) is harassing me and any contact they can find its insane. They will not work with me in any way even though the car they sold me has made me very ill and I haven't been able to hold steady work thanks to it. I've tried everything I can think of contacted the bbb i've tried contacting jd's corporate offices and several attorneys even tried calling the health dept. But yet I find no help with this matter. On top of it cnac sits there and tries to claim they are not a part of jd byrider but on jd's site it says its their own finance company. This company is nothing but con artists. And for those who are going to comment on this and say should have checked it out better and so on let me just say this... When you are desprate and have no other options and you walk in there they tell you everything you want to hear they make it all sound very legit. And great then when you have a few days to think it over you realize how bad it really is I don't even need to comment on the prices of the cars and so on cause pretty much everyone on here has. All I know is one way or another I'm going to find a way to take this company down they should have to close their doors. If you are also someone affected by this company please respond maybe we all need to go at this together. But to all who are considering going to Jd byrider DONT DO IT seriously it was the biggest mistake I ever made. 00000
