I purchased a 1996 Pontiac Grand Am Gt from J.D. Byrider over a year and a half ago. At the time of purchase, the vehicle had 100,000 miles on it.
The engine no longer works 30,000 miles later. To top it all off, I still owe $5,700.00 for a car that is not running. I had the car towed to a repair shop (my warrenty w/J.D. Had expired) and was told that a replacement engine would run around $3000.00 (???).
I informed CNAC aka J.D. Byrider about the car and was later made an offer about their Service Dpt repairing/rebuilding the engine.
I would have to give an additional $300 deposit for Service to start the job and the remaining $900.00 would be attached to my car loan???
That does not include me still making my regular payments (car note). I informed CNAC that I had to get a ride to work for the 1st week without a car and later I had to rent a car for almost 4 weeks.
I asked if J.D. Would offer me a loaner until the car was fixed, the gentleman's response was that J.D. Does not offer that option; but yet and still, you are expected to make payments on a car that does not run let alone that is worth the money that you are being charged for...
