No Customer Service until they don't get the payment! Then they HARRASS you., Greenville

Here is the situation. My Fiance signed with his ex-girlfriend to purchase a car. He had to sign with her because of her lack of credit. She also traded her car and had negative equity on the loan. They split and she kept the car and agreed to make the payments. Around October my fiance started getting calls that the payments were late or not being made. The ex said that she had taken care of it. Later on, she called and said she didn't have the money to pay so we ended up making a couple of the payments for her (of course we never got that money back), then around Christmas, she decides that she does not want the car anymore, so my fiance and I take possession of the car. We then find out that she is almost 3 months behind and had been deferring the payments. We have been making the monthly payments on the car but are unable to catch up the payments that she is delinquent.

Regional Acceptance has been contacted and explained the situation on numerous phone calls. Every time a call is made to her, we find ourselves explaining the situation over and over because of failure to document to the account. She said that she needed for my fiance to sign some paperwork showing that he had possession of the car. Upon receiving the paperwork, I realize that it plainly states that any changes, etc. That need to be made to the account requires the signatures of BOTH parties on the account (needless to say that my Fiance never once signed for the deferrals that the ex-girlfriend had made to the account).

Next, my fiance needed the payment date changed because he only gets paid once a month. The paperwork that she had sent to us this time states at the reason to support the Due Sate Change is: Maker stated 20th would be a better date for her with payment... Once again, Maker (EX-girfriend) and her (ex-girlfriend)... Who does not have possession of the car, in which this has been reported to them NUMEROUS times. Also, on this Due Date Change Form it states that if there is more than one obligor on the contract, then ALL parties MUST sign this request. I have refused to let my fiance sign this paperwork and have made my 3rd phone call to Regional Acceptance in a week and have yet received a return call. I am so FED UP with these people and am ready to voluntarily hand the car over to them!
