This company is deceptive - will debit your bank account without permission and charge unexplained fees

I have the ultimate displeasure of dealing with Regional Acceptance for my car loan. My husband and I ran into credit problems due to the closure of my husband's company and job loss. Our car was totaled and we needed a new one - unfortunately the company that approved us was Regional. This was 6 and we have had nothing but trouble ever since. They harrass you - calling me at work when I have repeatedly told them I cannot accept phone calls at work. My work phone still appears on my account information even though I have told them many times to remove it. I have dealt with a few different people - all idiots including the supervisors.

They have charged me fees that were unexplained. They have also debited my bank account TWO TIMES without my permission. Both times causing me fees in my bank account when the funds were not there. I had to fight for WEEKS to get my fees back the first time when they charged my account double my payment when the agreed amount was one month payment and now I am going through the same thing again where they debited my bank account days before I told them too - the funds were not there because it was not the agreed upon date. NEVER EVER EVER let representatives from this company access your bank account. If you are in the unfortunate situation of having a loan with them - use the easy pay on the website - then YOU control when your account is debited.

Those who work there can never give you an answer about anything and when you call them you ALWAYS get the voice mail and they DO NOT return your call! But they will harass and threaten you if your payment is late.

My newest problem with them is that they applied their "insurance". My monthly payment is now $50 higher because they said a lapse in my insurance caused a policy to be applied. I have insurance and submitted the paperwork but my monthly payment has not gone back to normal. I spoke with them today - nearly an hour on the phone being transferred from customer service to the "insurance center". I asked for a supervisor and did not get one - (they are always conveniently not there!!!) They purchased a policy for one year (so they say) at a cost of over $2700- they raised my monthly payment - this "policy" was not needed for a year - I submitted the paperwork and was only credited $378!!! Now my loan balance is over $2000 higher and the payments I have been making for a year are now worthless.

This is the worst experience I have EVER had with a company IN MY LIFE.

They are AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL. They prey on people in bad credit situations and make you wish you had never heard the name Regional Acceptance Corporation.

If you are not already in their deceptive, theiving grasp - DO NOT BECOME INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!
