Fails And Fails To Resolve Transmission Problems abused & mistreated my car and my trust

I have a 1996 Volkswagen Passat, that was experiencing transmission problems in October. I took the car under the extended warranty to Aamco Transmission in St. Petersburg, and they advised me a new transmission was needed.

After 17 days the car was completed and I picked-up the car and my one year warranty. Within two weeks the car was back at Aamco experiencing problems. After 22 days I again went to pick-up the car.

I did not take it as it still did not shift correctly. They kept the car for another 7 days. I picked up the car and although the gears were not correct (1st was neutral, etc) they asked to take it and return it Monday.

Less than 4 miles later, the car jumped out of gear and went over a parking median. The Manager agreed to have the car towed back to Aamco that day. Later they agreed to repair the new damage (broken radiator etc), due to allowing me to take the car in this condition.

At this point I contacted the corporate offices at Aamco and spoke with Mike Matt (ph: 800-523-0401) who assisted by contacting the owner Carl Lawrence. They agreed to purchase a used transmission and install it in my car. I agreed as the transmission had few miles on it.

Forty-three days later (and numerous calls) I picked up the car again. I was given a new one-year warranty. I drove the car for three months and did not again drive it until three months after that.

The second day driving the car (February) the transmission did not act correctly. I took the car back to Aamco and two days later was advised I was no longer under warranty as they dated the warranty the day the car was taken into the shop, not the date released (per the warranty). I picked-up the car and when I arrived at home my neighbor pointed out the drip.

Aamco had not closed the drain and left a hose and rag tied to the transmission (I have pictures). They advised me to drive the car in. Believing this would cause more damage I called their corporate offices again and spoke to Mark Rodgers. Later the shop agreed to tow the car in and that it was in fact under warranty.
It is now day 14 since the car was returned to Aamcoa total of 107 days in the last 10 months to not even provide a correct repair. The comment was made that I will truly be out of warranty in a few days. Please help!
