Basically, i ordered a car remote alarm scanner that shows if car alarm remotes are sending out a signal. NTXTools.com had 1 for sale, and on the web page, it showed, and stated that you get the remote tester, 12 packs of new batteries, and a store display stand for $65.00. I ordered the kit, and received the remote tester only. On top of that, it's defective.
I called the company, and they told me on the phone they would forward the information to their web department, and get back to me with an RMA. Nothing heard for a week. Went back to their web site where i purchased the remote tester, and the page with that remote tester was gone (covering their tracks). Emailed them 4 times, and never got an answer, even though they spammed my email twice a day with ads... Called, always told "xxx in accounting (or in web marketing) will call you back very soon"
Now that i have to be going through a chargeback, and my credit card wants me to show i returned it. Why, and to where? They never gave me an RMA authorization... So i believe that i would return it, and they'll claim they didn't get what they sold me, and i'll end up with nothing, and a negative on my credit card. It's a hassle. It gives companies leverage when selling crap, or doing a bait and switch.
Heads up about this shady website.
