I'm not a customer of Esurance... Thank God!!! I happen to get involved with them when a person that I had as an associate on a checking account I open temporarily, used the account to make his auto insurance payment in November. Needless to say, the bank paid the charge when there was no money in the checking account. Once their auto insurance was posted and paid, the person changed their debit card info back to their previous payment info so that it looked like nothing ever changed. I initially called Esurance to have the payment reversed. Esurance told me they were not able to locate a payment for the amount I quoted, same amount deducted from my checking account that was paid to the person's insurance account. They were not able to locate the date I gave them. Not helpful at all. I later supplied two different last 4 numbers of debit cards and they were not able to help. Therefore, I took it upon my bank to dispute the transaction. Esurance never responded to their inquires. Therefore, I got stuck with the charge and the person is gone on with their happy life. More than 3 months later, an Esurance rep finally gave more info than any rep I talk with since November. However, he told me if I would have given the last 4 of the debit card back in November, which I did, I would have had the charge reversed and credited back to my checking account. WOW!!! That's what I've been doing since November is giving the same information, but getting different answers and them wasting my time so they would make it hard for me to get my money back. It depends on how knowledgeable the rep is that takes the call. Unfortunately, most are not knowledgeable at all about Esurance products and services. Here it is, February and I'm still fighting to get my money back. I would never in this life time do business with Esurance. I'm about to take out a small claims against them via civiltree.com
