Dodge Country
Service Department

First I take my 2003 Dodge 3500 to Dodge Country of Killeen, TX, becuase I was stationed at FT Hood in the WTU, for warranty work to be done and takes them twice as long to fix it then they said it would and the day I go pick it up they drop it off the lift. They take me back show me the damage, and told me that this lift has had problems, then why use especially on a heavy truck. Then they say they will fix it and they will have their body shop call me, wait a week and then I call and then takes me two more weeks to get into the shop, another week to fix damage, and never got the emblems for the door, traded it in a few months later.

Next truck a 2004.5 Dodge Ram 3500, take it Dodge Country because have no ride back from another dealership. Tell them I am having transmission issues and a wobble from the front end, they replace the FRONT LEFT axle (covered by warranty) and then they tell me its just the belts need adjusting (not covered by warranty). Few months later having same problems with transmission, take to Mac Haik Dodge of Temple, they pull it in and tell me the Valve Body and Torque Converter are shot, so why did I need belts adjusted.

A couple months later my FRONT LEFT tire about falls off, had to be towed from my house 30 minutes from town to Mac Haik ($130). They tell me that it is due to improper installation, well they other 5 tires did not come off and weren't loose. So I call Dodge Country they say that I was suppose to check them 500 miles after they put them on, something they did not tell me, they are aftermarket aluminum rims, like I said before the other 5 that Mac Haik put on when I bought them were still on. They said they would pay also due to it had been to another shop, and it had been too many miles and said I should have noticed before it happened, my buddy was with me when it happened we stopped three times that night could not see well but could see nothing obvious and we were less than 4 miles from home.

SO I had to shell out a total of over $700 to get my truck back to what it was before the incident. Then of course that put me behind on just about everything, then I get medically retired out of the Army and still behind. I served 10 years as a HMMWV (Humvee) Scout and know how to get around a truck, I could understand if I took it off road, but the only time I even used my 4x4 is when under load and on wet grass at someones house. So if you need servicing on you vehicle drive the extra 30 minutes to Temple and save the money and aggravation from dealing with Dodge Country of there affiliates.
