Sounds like the same old story, car dealer brings in thousands of customers and switches them from purchases to leases, then records thousands of dollars profit on each transaction. Recently gunderson chevrolet was caught switching customers without their knowledge from purchases to leases, ripp-offs were in the millions of dollars, they were caught by the state of california, but nothing significant happened.
They had to pay a fine but admitted no wrong doing, the parent company Auto Nation U.S.A. Says it knew nothing of what its employees were doing. HAHAHA of course they knew what was going on it was managements idea,
I have been in the automotive business for over twenty years and i know they knew what was happening. Well the good thing is recently 6 ex-employees were indicted on criminal charges, too bad they didn't indict upper management they are guilty also. One bad apple caught millions more to go!!!
