On 19 October I saw an ad in the Fort Worth newspaper stating that new Dodge 2500's were being sold for $20,000.00 of the MSRP. I contacted Rob by phone at Allen Samuels Dodge and got his word that this sale is for all 2008 2500 pickups and that there were no hidden dealers fees such as Ad fees, Lot fees or high priced doc fees. The price of the truck I selected was approx $46,730.00. With 20,000 of that would be 26,730.00. After going back and forth with the sales person (Chris Collyer) and the Sales Manager. They tried to sneak in all kinds of additional charges such as a lot fee, and raising the price of dealer installed options 3 times as much as stated on the dealer sticker inside the vehical. Window tint was 99.00 on the truck but charged 299.00 in the dealership. The lowest price they would sell it to me was over $29,000.00. The Sales Manager argued that he gave me 20,00.00 of but that doesn't look like 20,000 to me. Another bait and switch plus attempted swindle in the auto business.
