BARR NUNN & THE USIS DAC employment report:
They practice unfairness in this reporting. This report can gravely affect a driver's career. They are very secretive in this practice.
There is NO law stating that IF turned down for a job they have a right to receive and review this information as is the case. Often times trucking companies submit false or deceiving information which the driver has no idea exists. DAC reporting does not review or make changes for accuracy and only goes by what the trucking company stated. Now do you really trust your dispatcher? Safety Department? Operations? When something happens they got your back? Or sticking something in it? You can request a free copy of your DAC from USIS but there not going to make changes. Your DAC is open for all trucking companies to see (Search the web you'll see what all the other drivers are saying about the company they worked for and how they can't get another driving job).
It is difficult to receive this report and trucking companies will NOT give it and are NOT forced to give this report to a prospective employee. Trucking companies can use this report as a tool to "get revenge" on a driver for whatever reason.
I do not recommend barr nunn for employeement or any transportation needs. And i too hope they recieve the same fate as jevic transportation. (they went out of business)
*For such a small trucking company they are also short on loads and miles (Thats why they pay more per mile-but you'll still get a small pay pay check) and I hope you like sitting on the weekends at trucks stops far from home (because you'll do alot of that too). No bunk heaters or APUs. 98% of their trucks are small with no space and boy do I mean ultra cheap!
Personal note: if trucking companies have a dac report to say whatever they want about "us" drivers. What report are "us" drivers entitled to make. I would like to make a report about these bad trucking companies to my fellow drivers so they won't work for them! Oh! Usacomplaints.com.com
