On 07/28/08 I bought a 2003 Nissan 350z. The high pressure salesman misrepresented the vehicle. He said the vehicle was in excellent condition and it was owned by and elderly couple. He said he the vehicle had a verifiable service record. These were lies. He could not produce any records, plus the salesman made inappropriate and sexual advances towards me. I declined his request for a date several times; I should have left the dealership.instead, I ended up signing paperwork for the vehicle. I bought an extended warranty for $2895. I placed $2500 on my credit card for the car. I did not have the balance which was $13818. I could not finance the balance. Jeff Shaw asked if I could write a check from a different account. I said I could, but I don't have the funds in that account either. I said hold the check until I get the funds. I wanted to leave the car on the lot. He said I had to drive to car off the lot because I've bought 2 car previously. He said I could take the car home and get the other check. The car vibrated and bounced the entire drive. The salesman followed me over 60 miles to get the check. He even waited 1 hour at my job while I worked.
At my home, he made advances towards me. I gave him the check. On 7/25/08, I could not get the money. Newbold called O'fallon Police Dept. I told the officer Jeff Shaw made a mistake and I returned the car immediately. Now "thuggish" Newbold is refusing to give me back my money. They said they are keeping my money for the warranty. This is fraud & theft. The Attorney General and media will know about this.
