I received an unignorable offer from First National Credit in Aliso Veijo, California. It told me I had qualified for a $15,000 credit card, unsecured. I had to send only $80.00 as a one time processing fee. At the time, finding myself in a financial crisis recently being diagnosed with cancer, I bit. Like many of us, we find ourselves in situations where a little extra would not only be helpful but seemed necessary.
I feel taken advantage of and lied to. First National's offer did not state that it was a catalog shopping only 'credit card'. Their offer was misleading and fraudulent. I destroyed their so called 'credit card' immediately upon receipt, and now can't seem to be able to reach them without having the account number. The number was of course only on the 'credit card' itself. Their 'customer service' phone number can only help you if you have an account number. Their website was nothing but a run around and I will now be forced to reach them by certified mail to close the account before they can rip me off again.
