We purchased a 99 Ford Expedition from Phil Long Ford. The car was represented as being quality, checked and certified by a trained technician under varying road condtions. The purchase came with a 6000 mile warranty the drive train and major vehicle systems.
When took the car to our mechanic to have it checked over. The 4x$ was not engaging properly. We returned the car and asked to have it looked at and repaired. Of course they repaired it but held the car until we paid them $540.00.
We were told that the warranty did not cover the repair. When we asked about the car being sold with everything checked and working, they responded that it was not their problem.
