Sim-card not activated

Yesterday, i have taken new number, i am waiting more then 24 hour to active new connection, but till no response from the dealer and company agents when i asked them regarding this. Now i have decide to shift bsnl or another vendors, and dealer is saying that it will take more then 1 days to 7 days in certain condition, saying that the server is down, is really airtel uses that bad kind of server or even they don't have backup server? Now i am thinking "why i have to take air tel"? Does all people face same kind of trouble will taking new number (prepaid)? My sim card number 899190080227530175 4., i request people to think twice whill taking the numbe
