Ripoff false promises the business that doesn't give a damn

I bought a New 2002 ford explorer from Burns ford on September 30. Two days later found as per one estimate 2494.00 worth of damage to the vehicle (paint). After complaining to the dealership and writing to different agencies. The dealer call me at work and ask if I would except a trade. They would swap me another explorer for the damaged one.

A couple of days later I called the general manager. He informed me that ford motor co.inspected the vehicle and said they could paint it to factory spec's. The Car had damage to the roof paint chips and nicks. Also the hood had been repainted. A bad job and had to be repainted. The right rear quarter panel also needed repainting. So and exchange of vehicle's was out of the question. I informed the general manager of a law. General business law 396-p refer. Damage to a new motor vehicle like mine. That had damage over 5% of retail value. Would require a refund. He inform me that a paint job was his only option. Also his estimate was only 1100.00 dollars. Which one of the auto body shop owners laughed at.
