My wife & I bought a Ford Explorer from O'meara Ford last December. During the process of looking at the particular Explorer we bought, we asked the salesman if the car had been wrecked or had any major body damage. He said no; the car was a "Ford Program Car" and had received an "181 point checklist" review and had no problems whatsoever. He said it was essentially a brand new car, having never been wrecked.
We purchased the vehicle, under the pretense that the car had never been wrecked or seriously damaged.
This past weekend, my wife & I went to trade in this vehicle and the dealership that we went to looked at the vehicle and said it had obviously had been wrecked & wasn't worth anything.
We felt sick to our stomachs; we knew we had been taken advantage of by the O'meara Ford Dealership.
