We bought an extended warranty for our new vechicle. We thought it would be a good idea since we wanted to keep the truck for at least 10 years. Our car broke down with just 39,000 miles on it. I had it towed to the dealership. They found the problem and called 800-576-5113. They were told that Dealer Services is going out of business and they would not pay any claims. I was to pay for the repairs $900 and that maybe they would cover some of it later. I can't wait until later. I have four kids and need a car that will hold all of us. My husband is in Iraq. I can't drive a car that has no brakes or power steering! It needs to be fixed! I called 800-649-1856 and told them I wanted my money back that the company has stolen from me and I needed it to pay for my car to be repaired. She actually laughed at me. She then went on to tell me that I could write cancelled on a copy of the contract sign the back and have it notorized and mailed it to their claims department and that when they could get to it they would pro-rate the contract and I might get some money back. If I had money I would sue. I have no money to get a lawyer. The salesman that sold us the warranty told us that there was no deductible and that we could have it repaired at our dealership. He is a liar! Do not ever buy an extended warranty. I can't believe my husband protects people like this!
