The dealer financed my car through Cutthroat One Auto Finance, Tey some how made a mistake and financed $3000.00 two much. This made my payment higher then I could afford. Ikept the car for 8 months, but could afford it no longer.
Icalled Capitol One Itold them to come and get the car, because they already refused to refinance at a lower payment. I said when you sell the car let me know, so I can pay what I owe.
I did'nt here from them for three months. I immediatly wrote back to them offering $200.00 per month till paid. I heard nothing back, I called them to ask about my offer. They said you meeean theee wooon fer two hunerd a mooonth. I said yes, He said that' s fine
I sent them 18 payments of $200.00. I offered a settlement of $2000.00 to close the account they accepted I sent the check. I owe them nothing. But I found that they charged off the account in May. But just notified me in May that they sold the car. How can they say that the debt is uncollectable. They didnt give me a chance.
I sent them three letters, each time informing them of my intention to pay this debt as soon as the car was sold. Why is it do you suppose, that you can send them ninteen checks over a period of 18 months and they all manage to end up in the right hands. But you send them three letters and no one evers remembers seeing any thing.
Cutthroat One Auto finance is the most unethical company I have ever seen. They will not work with anyone, they will not communicate, They will do any thing they can to use you as a tax write off. They probably need to do this to keep their horribly inefficient business afloat
