On May 24 I signed and authorized Maaco to perform work on my 2005 PT Cruiser at 18065 Euclid Street Fountain Valley, Ca. 92708. After about five months I began to notice that the paint started to bubble and flake and in several areas there was an orange peel or fading look in several large areas.
I then returned to the Maaco shop in Fountain Valley on several occasions to have my vehicle inspected and repaired andeach time i went i kept getting the run around. On one occasion I showed Tom Pace an adjuster at the MAACO Fountain Valley location a part of the hood where there was no paint and all I was given was a small can of touch up paint.
The next time I returned to the MAACO shop in Fountain Valley it was closed and the last I herd the owner WEI YANG returned to China with all the other defective things that come out of CHINA. YEAH MAACO America's Bodyshop... MADE IN CHINA.
I then called the number for the MAACO shop in Fountain Valley and was transfered to the Maaco Enterprises Inc., Customer Relations Department in Pennsylvania, at that point I was told I had to send them any issues regarding paint imperfection in writing. I finally received a call from Maaco Customer Relations several weeks later telling me to go to a Maaco shop in Anaheim and to talk to Sam the person authorized to perform the vehicle inspection. I arrived at the Anaheim Maaco shop and Sam wasnt there to conduct the inspection, I then called Maaco Customer Relations and told them that Sam wasnt there to inspect my vehicle. They then called to reschedule the inspection and each time I was scheduled for an inspection he wasnt there. Maaco Customer Relations kept giving me excuse after excuse Maaco has had approximately one and a half years to resolve these paint warranty issues and have failed to honor the MAACO National Gloss and Peeling Warranty that comes with my Signature Service. OR is it the MAACO National Gloss and Peeling Gaurantee that means its gauranteed to peel and loose its gloss anywhere in the nation...
