2 or 3 years ago My 1997 Northstar Cadillac got warm - not real hot. I stopped cut the motor off and called the wrecker and had it towed to wagner cadillac.
Wagner called me up a couple of days latter and told me the engine was blown and wanted $7,500.00 to install a new engine. I told them to hold paid them for the wrecker & garage bill. I then had the car towed to my son-1n law in which I gave the car to them.
He is not a mechanic but he worked on the car in his spare time replaced parts by trial and error spent about $300.00 on it abd has since drove the car approx. 50,000 miles.
