On or about April 19, I dropped my 1988 Cadillac Brougham off at Dresslers Electric Service for repair because the main issue with the vehicle was that the car would have problems stalling constantly and had never run correctly since I had a previous repair shop in Thurmont, Maryland, install and overhaul an engine from a 1987 Cadillac Brougham that along with this particular1988 Cadillac Brougham, had belonged to my father who had passed away on February 26.
I had the engine from the 1987 Cadillac Brougham (that was in very poor exterior cosmetic condition) pulled out of the vehicle and overhauled, then installed in the 1988 Cadillac Brougham, because the original engine in the 1988 Cadillac Brougham had some serious mechanical issues due to lack of maintenance by my father. When I had the auto repair facility in Maryland overhaul the 1987 Engine, I also included a New (Rebuilt) Carburetor purchased from Advance Auto Parts on 5/04 that cost me $539.
