I purchased a vehicle from Drive Time a little over one year ago. A week after I purchased it the check engine light came on. The vehicle came with a 90 day warranty at time of purchase.
I brought my vehicle back to Drive Time to check my engine light and my transmission since it was not shifting correctly. I brought it back 3 times, and each time I was told it was fine, the only problem was a faulity gas cap (which I had to purchase).
Currently my vehicle does not run. The transmission went out, it will not steer properly, it actually caught fire a couple months ago, and sometimes it won't even start.
I tried to trade it in, but I was told I owe $10,000.00 on a vehicle that is worth $2500.00. No dealership in Arizona can help to trade in this vehicle since I overpaid So much. I have been paying on this vehicle, which just sits in my driveway now, and my loan hasn't even gone down.
I have tried to fix my vehicle, but I pay so much a month for it I can't afford the repairs, which total over $2000.00.
Do not go to this company to purchase a vehicle. There are plenty of quality dealships out there that will help people during hard times, and will stand by their product, not like Drive Time who willing takes advantage of people.
