On my first visit to NAPA in Odessa I needed help repairing a truck that was stranded in northern California. The owner, Joe Price, who was working the counter that morning attacked me verbally upon hearing that I had come from California. "You're dealing drugs", he said repeatedly in front of employees and other customers.
When I filed a BBB report from the above incident, Joe went to the local Police and told them that I had made a BBB report. The police then approached me on the matter. Fortunately the Odessa Marshall admitted it was a business matter. However the damage was done. The police had already made an issue of it.
The jist of this matter is that the NAPA owner retaliated against me by going to the police rather than dealing directly in a mature manner.
