We have been receiving several silent, harrassing or hang-up calls every day for a period of about a month. QWest has an "Annoyance call bureau" that is able to set up a trap in order to find out from where these calls originate.
We called on 5/25 and were told to call the Police, get the officer's badge number and the number of a police report. Otherwise they would not set up the trap. We called the local police and were told "this is not a police matter, this is something between you and QWest".
We called QWest ("The Spirit of Service...") again, listening to their false message "Telemarketing calls are legal and legitimate..." (without mentioning that there is a do-not-call list), and being advised: "Sorry, nothing we can do about it, change your number"
Great company, extremely concerned about their customers, extremely helpfull and service oriented!!!
